Performance Monitoring at your service

OXC Data Collection

Company description

A company operating in the publishing and communication sector, belonging to one of the largest media groups in the Italian market.

A CHALLENGE TO BE FACED

The use of a variety of heterogeneous systems and applications to manage multiple workflows did not allow the execution of a functional process. There was a need to provide an analytical tool that: - cut out unnecessary activities - provide something not possible through other monitoring tools: a single point where all data is collected, interpolated and made available in dashboards, customisable by all applications and IT systems.

OUR SOLUTION

Peppers is a collaborative platform for task management and image process automation. It enables the assignment, management, acceleration and control of tasks related to the processing of individual layout images, giving total control over both automatic and manual image processing activities. The integration with Glass has enabled a dashboard for each module, where all data relating to a specific module and its components are collected, analyzed and displayed.

✓Analytics on image workflow

✓Analysis of image activities by time slots, users, projects

✓Representation of costs and times by clients/publications, projects/problems, layouts

✓Measurement of quantities of images processed by type of task (automatic, manual), by type of work (cropping, image enhancement, photomontage... ), by user (internal or external supplier)

✓ Amount of rework

✓Measurement of image sizes before and after the task

✓Measurement of user traversal times and workloads

✓Measurement of total costs per image, internal or external supplier, publication/client, problem/project The dashboards are user-customisable, and each user can have the type of analysis they need for a specific module/component.

ACHIEVEMENTS

Peppers and Glass, highly innovative and integrable tools, gave the client an immediate overview of costs and their distribution with regard to image activities. They enabled insights into activities, whether internal or external. They have enabled decisions to be made both in terms of optimisation and increased productivity and in terms of creating new business through complete control of production environments.
