Making communication effective internally and with promoters: Intrapad

Company description

It is a leading Italian financial services company that deals in the sale of asset management products and life insurance policies through a network of financial advisors. It consists of a group of companies that structure an integrated system in which the management of services and the distribution of financial products, such as mutual funds and hedge funds, are united.

A CHALLENGE TO BE FACED

To realize a simple and immediate access to the information contained in the company network and in the different internal sources, guaranteeing the maintenance of the App's contents. Ability to access extra content (web channel and video channel). Access and use of other services: fund quotes, press review, business arguments and financial education.

OUR SOLUTION

Development of an App for Ipad designed to make communication between the holding company and the networks of promoters effective, provide real time updates to internal staff and management, and communicate effectively with the customer.


The application was created with the following components:


1. Intrapad App: client component that is downloaded directly from the App Store to be installed on the device


2. Controller: server component that interfaces with the intranet and other internal systems, manages user access and distributes content to the client component




The application can only be used by all authorised promoters of the intranet. The documents available from the application can be accessed in two ways: navigation via the hierarchical menu and full-text search within the text content.
